Apparently November was the month for playing football, eating mollusks high in zinc while overlooking scenic bodies of water, and friends doubling as families. We had two Thanksgivings this year: one for friends and the other for puppies. Dex came up to SF from LA to eat some more turkey and mashed potatoes, and I dragged him around the city to see things like that big red bridge, and eat weird dim sum dishes in the outer sunset neighborhood.

(because this blog’s initial intention was to talk about food, I suppose it would be useful to incorporate recipes. I made this apple gallette recipe from Bon Appetit, and this cinnamon ice cream recipe. Perfect dessert to serve at Christmas! Or to eat at 9 AM the next morning after drinking too much wine)

See you babes next year! Merry, happy, etc.
Love you, sista! So much beauty makes my heart sing 🙂 Merry, merry, bright and tasty holidays and new year to you!
