Happppppy Tuesday.   At least it’s not Monday, right?

Hello to some of my new readers coming over from Carrots ‘N’ Cake. Thanks for visiting! Stick around, and hang out with me for a while.  I promise to keep you entertained.  I talk about fun things like eating cheese fries at 3 AM, and taking Bikram classes where I nearly die.  Hopefully I’m smart enough to not take Bikram the day after my 3 AM cheese party.

I was struggling to keep my eyes open yesterday.  The night before (or, the day of my FAT PANTS), I decided that I felt like eating… more.  Naturally.

Bridget and Kathleen cooked us a feast before we settled in to watch Mad Men.

I made sure to go heavy on the greens in order to avoid falling into a carb/sugar coma after my weekend of greasy eats.

I shuffled my way through Monday, and thought about what could make my day a little easier, a little better… hmmm?  Food shopping. Yoga. Yes.

I skipped through the store, my mood lifting with each aisle I passed through.  Does anyone else enjoy food shopping like I do?  Or am I just a food freak?  I think I know the answer to that.

I put away my groceries, and rushed to my favorite Monday night yoga class.  My instructor always has this weird way of knowing exactly what’s going on in my mind that day, and somehow manages to address it.  I really pushed myself  in class, leaving no chuttarunga behind.  I walked out feeling like  a light, happy noodle. I’m still having issues lifting my arms.

My Monday ended much better than it started.  And all it took was a fridge full of new groceries, and a good yoga class.    I slept like a rock and it was awesome.

Question:  What do you do to lift your mood on Moanday?   Who uses grocery shopping to put them in a better mood?  Don’t raise your hands all at once now.
