Oh jeez.  I have SO much to tell you guys.  We’ve pretty much been eating and drinking for the past two days. Buckle your seat belts, and put your stretchy pants on. This is going to be a fat post.

Yesterday morning was the sunset which was lovely.  I promptly went back to bed afterwards (I mean I AM on vacation).

Later on in the afternoon, we went to the Farmer’s Market in town.

(I couldn’t help myself. Come on! Look at those little feet.)


Just like Christmas morning! I’m such a loser.

After the Farmer’s Market we left for the beach where my Dad made an enormous sand sculpture in the shape of a race car.  Unfortunately, I forgot my camera.  Maybe I will bribe him with some margarine tomorrow to make another.

For dinner we went to Harvest on Fort Pond.

There was a small wait, so we grabbed cocktails at the bar and walked out on the dock for a mini photo shoot.

We got our table and promptly ordered apps and a bottle of vin.

We had 2 family style entrees to share.

Penne with Sautéed Asparagus, Mushrooms and Mascarpone Cheese

I was unbelievably full.  We told that waitress that we would pay people to wheelbarrow us out of the restaurant.  They would turn huge profits at Harvest if they started an after-dinner-barrow business there.

All in all, it was such a perfect night for it.  The food was delicious, the garden was beautiful, and I got to hang with my fam! Couldn’t be better.

Okay, I think I’ve reached my blogging capacity for today.  Also, I’m about to head out the door because the Green family has some big Friday night plans: dinner and mini-golf. Priorities, people.  The vacation tapeworm needs to eat (and play mini-golf?).
