It’s official. Summer is here (along with my 16 Handles loyalty stamp card), and my weekends keep getting better and better. Over the weekend, my nightly curfew was set by birds chirping at dawn, and I went to bed with sunshine pouring through my windows. Twice.
Notes from the weekend:
I can’t stop eating zucchini.
Unexpected little presents are the best.
Whiskey gives me headaches.
Dogs like to sit like humans sometimes.
ABV is officially my favorite restaurant.
I love having a quiet kitchen to myself in the morning.
Strawberries: gimme.
While at a bar, I had weird conversations about cannibalism and “Alex Eats Spleen” was suggested for a redesign.
Yes, my friends really are that pretty.
I’m a lucky girl.

I just read this and saw about the zucchini – I have been having a love affair with zucchini myself – I think we may be food/blog soul mates. Although, I may need to have you take some of these amazing photos for me because my iphone pics are definitely not up to par! lol
Thanks Amanda! I agree. But you can still take fantastic photos with your iPhone! I actually take a lot of my blog photos with my phone…don’t tell anyone.
